Exciting things are happening!

In February, Liberty Mutual made a $2 million grant to Franklin Cummings Tech, in support of its anticipated campus in Roxbury's Nubian Square. The funding will allow for two new spaces: the Liberty CleanTech Lab, for project-based learning in clean technology and building energy management; and the Liberty Lookout, a rooftop social gathering space and student reception area.

Liberty Mutual was recently featured in the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation's 2023 Philanthropic Showcase.

Two amazing young women who are members of nonprofit partner More Than Words, wrote an op-ed in The Boston Globe about the challenges and hidden opportunities for young adults aging out of the foster care system.

The President's Blog

Dear Partners,

As you may recall, last year we asked for your participation in a grantee perception survey we conducted in partnership with The Center for Effective Philanthropy (CEP). I want to share my profound thanks to the 285 partners who not only completed the survey, but who provided thoughtful, candid feedback to inform the process—your time is valuable, and I am both inspired by and grateful for your generosity with it.

My latest blog post provides insight into what we learned from the survey and how we’re using your feedback to improve the way we serve your organizations. It’s a privilege to partner with you and play a small role in supporting your organizations to advance security and build resiliency in our communities.
